Pine tips are the buds of the pine tree, which are formed in early spring. They are harvested while they are still fragile and tender, since in this period they contain the most useful substances. Pine tips have a strong expectorant effect and are therefore extremely preferred as an addition to the treatment of various types of bronchitis, cough, shortness of breath and pneumonia. They can also be used for cold inhalations. Pine-tipped tea has a fresh aroma of pine forest and a slightly bitter taste.
Directions for use: 1 tablespoon of the herb is placed in 300 g of boiling water, boil the mixture for 1 minute. Let the mixture soak for 30 minutes. Strain and drink 3 times a day in equal portions on an empty stomach.
